Along Rt. 6A in Truro a long standing business resides on the corner of an intersection. Dutra's Market this morning became my subject.I was inspired by the far reaching shadows and the cascading phone poles leading you to Provincetown.The fact that this family owned business was no surprise to inspire me for at this time of the painting my family was closing theirs.The business I grew up in was closing it's doors of forty years and I was standing at a crossroad myself.
